Edit: This sale is back, and it’s now on till stocks last. New discount code to use: MSS50. Enjoy!

I woke up this morning to a mail from IndianRoots.in –

IndianRoots Diwali Mega Sale flat 50% offI thought – FLAT 50% off? Yeah, right. After hearing so much criticism of the recent Flipkart sale, “mega sale” and related phrases make me see red flags all over. I wasn’t buying it.

Still, as a wedding blogger, it’s my duty to check out a big sale for Indian wear, especially if it’s on a website that retails big designers such as Shehla Khan, am:pm and Rohit Bal.

I saw a * mark – turns out, the sale was applicable on EVERYTHING on their website Continue reading “Best Picks from the IndianRoots Flat 50% Sale: under ₹20,000”

Make A Fashion Statement at the Next Wedding You Attend

Make a Fashion Statement at the next wedding you attend Masaba Gupta saris

I’ve been married for almost a year and a half now. And this is what happens every time I open my cupboard to choose a sari to wear to a wedding –

I browse through all the saris I own, and reject 90% of them because “it’s chamki” “too plain” “already worn it to the last 6 weddings” or “everyone’s going to be wearing this”.

Editor’s Picks: Anita Dongre on IndianRoots

Remember when I wrote about the Anita Dongre bridal wear store in Mumbai? I got a ton of queries from brides asking if the collection was available outside Mumbai as well. For Delhi brides, some bridal wear pieces might be available at the Saket & MG Road AD stores, but for the most part – if you don’t live in Mumbai, getting your hands on an Anita Dongre bridal outfit was a tough task.

Not anymore.

Those of you who live outside Mumbai, or even outside India, can now order yourself an Anita Dongre bridal outfit from Indianroots.com – one of the newest e-railers for designer-wear (whom I also guest blog for!) They have the largest AD collection I’ve seen anywhere on the world wide web, and

IndianRoots also has the best rates!

Yes, some of the lehengas are actually 20-30k cheaper on IndianRoots Continue reading “Editor’s Picks: Anita Dongre on IndianRoots”
