The Only Skin Care Plan You Need: Bride Edition

  1. You’ve got some great tips there! And just to share a personla experience with you, I had the biggest pimple just a week before my wedding! And needless to say, I was at my panicky best. I quickly bought the Garnier pimple pen but that didn’t really help much since the zit was huge. I then decided to visit Kaya at Khan Market. The dermatologist prescribed some antibiotics (3 day course) and said if there’s till no improvement, she’d have to inject some medicine for it to go before the wedding. Thankfully, the antibiotics worked their magic and the pimple was gone!!! I was so relieved. 🙂

Also, just wanted to ask you about the moisturiser you use? Even I have combination skin and regular use of moisturiser tends to break my skin!

    1. Thanks for the tip! I actually had TWO zits right before my wedding! Had no idea what to do with them so just thought “I’ve been given this so that nazar na lage by the almighty” :p honestly, didn’t know how else to keep myself calm with it otherwise!
I use Chambor’s White Brightening Moisturizing Lotion – for combination skin. It’s really light, and works well for me. You can also try Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I’ve used a sample and it’s AWESOME.

  2. Really liked this article but it’s so sad that there is no quick fix 😛 Exercise…gaah! I have bookmarked that article and will start soon. No wedding in sight, but hey, never too late to start caring for your skin huh?

In ref to above comment, Clinique skincare is awesome! I have horrible skin and I tend to use that.I also thought this would apply to their makeup too but no, Clinique makeup sucks. Don’t bother wasting your money on it like I did for many years. Bobbi Brown and MAC are way better!

  3. Also, question: you said to reapply sunscreen if outside for more than two hours but what about makeup? I mean, what if you have applied foundation and blush etc etc?
