I visited Hauz Khas Village for a meeting today, and of course, once the meeting was over I couldn’t stop myself from taking a look at the latest collection at some of my favourite stores. Exactly a year ago…
…I was on a project in Mumbai. I had gone to Phoenix Mills in Lower Parel for an early bachelorette of sorts with my girlfriends from college. Don’t ask for the details, because you’ll never get them 🙂
Just when we entered the mall complex, the Anita Dongre bridal wear store caught my eye. And since I had started trousseau shopping already, I went in for a quick peek. Continue reading “Trousseau Destination: Anita Dongre, Mumbai”
JADE. The word makes me feel light-headed and dreamy. Because every time I hear it, I think of JADE, the store that I discovered shortly after my own wedding (my parents must be thanking their stars because if I had found it earlier, I would’ve spent what some might consider “a bomb” on my trousseau). So you can imagine my surprise when I couldn’t stop pinning pretty much every anarkali JADE put a picture of online. Could this be IT? Continue reading “Trousseau Destination: JADE”
A few days before my wedding, my Bua and Dadi came over to my house bearing wedding gifts – two beautiful saris! Continue reading “Trousseau Destination: RAS”
I generally avoid posts on what’s the latest style in wedding outfits because frankly, I’ve never been able to keep up with it and I’m usually pretty clueless about these things. The most I will do is post a few lines on my Facebook page about a new trend in wedding outfits I’ve seen lately, … Continue reading Trending: Phulkari
I found my sangeet lehenga at Aumbre. Yup, it’s done. After searching in too many places to count – all the way from the expensive Frontier Raas, to the bright colors of Eveva Love and the big ghera at Ole Couture – I finally found the one I loved the most. This is how it … Continue reading How I found my Sangeet Lehenga
