Remember when I wrote about the Anita Dongre bridal wear store in Mumbai? I got a ton of queries from brides asking if the collection was available outside Mumbai as well. For Delhi brides, some bridal wear pieces might be available at the Saket & MG Road AD stores, but for the most part – if you don’t live in Mumbai, getting your hands on an Anita Dongre bridal outfit was a tough task.
Not anymore.
Those of you who live outside Mumbai, or even outside India, can now order yourself an Anita Dongre bridal outfit from Indianroots.com – one of the newest e-railers for designer-wear (whom I also guest blog for!) They have the largest AD collection I’ve seen anywhere on the world wide web, and
IndianRoots also has the best rates!
Yes, some of the lehengas are actually 20-30k cheaper on IndianRoots than if you would order from any other online stores (I’ve checked, and double-checked!) So if you’re up for some Anita Dongre bridal wear shopping, here are my favourites from the Jaipur Bride collection available at IndianRoots.
For Your Wedding
Both the lehengas have similar looks, but I couldn’t choose just one! I love the bright neon shades, and the super heavy gota patti work on the skirt makes it fit for a wedding.
For Your Sangeet
This royal blue ensemble is a classic Sangeet look. Brides tend to steer towards reds, pinks and oranges on their wedding day – as those colours look truly bridal. But to give your Sangeet outfit a hatke look, go for a deep blue lehenga like this one and really stand out from the crowd!
This is my absolute favourite lehenga from the entire collection!
I love this shade of pink insanely, and although the work is really heavy, it will go as well on a Sangeet as it will on a Wedding.
For Your Trousseau
This elegant white lehenga can be worn to a friend’s wedding, and the best thing about a white skirt is that you can always pair with it with different coloured blouses to create a new look every time! To give this one a more wedding-y look, pair it with a white gold blouse.
Every bride needs a bright sari that’s minimally embellished all over, but has a nice big border. This IS that sari! Neon pink georgette gorgeousness!
Another absolute favourite from the entire collection!
At INR 25,000, this net jacket anarkali is actually something a lot of us can afford! I love how the ink blue shade contrasts off the colour of the skin. It’s a beauty, and something you can wear to a ton of dinner parties and as a wedding guest to someone’s Reception. I’m tempted to buy it, but I already have a plain anarkali in the exact same shade, and for the exact same purpose 😦 But if you’re a bride to be, and looking for one designer-wear item to sort of splurge on, this would be IT.

To see the rest of the collection at IndianRoots, go here. If you do plan to purchase an Anita Dongre outfit online, do check the price at IndianRoots as a lot of their lehengas are available at better rates than the rest of the web.
Hi, have you placed an order with indian roots? I placed an order last night but i am contemplating to cancel it- no doubt the rates were tempting – however i just looked up online and have read a lot of negative reviews online. I am confused as to what to do… any help would be appreciated.
