After a slew of fashion week posts, this is the last individual show I’m going to talk about from India Bridal Fashion Week 2014. There might be some trend or other posts where I will talk about the show as a whole, but as for individual designers – this is the last one.
I know some of you may be getting tired of all the designer-wear fashion posts (or are these helpful because you’re all starting to shop for your wedding now?) because I sure am getting a little tired writing JUST about fashion shows! I promise more non-fashion posts over the next few weeks. Except for the ones from Lakme Fashion Week, because that’s just around the corner. Eh, what’s a wedding blogger supposed to do?! *throws up hands helplessly*
I had loved Meera & Muzaffar Ali’s fantastic bridal wear from their show at India Bridal Fashion Week last year. After a sneak peek at their collection for 2014 at the Vogue Wedding Show earlier this month, I was excited to see what would catch my attention during this year’s edition of IBFW. As expected, I found a few pieces I adored!
TDB’s Picks
Mint green AND gold. What a beautiful, trousseau-worthy ensemble! Paired with those chunky antique stacked bracelets, the look was killer. The only thing I didn’t like were those striped pallazo pants. As easy to not use them as it was for me to crop them off from the first image 🙂
Where to wear? A beautiful piece for your trousseau, wear it as a newlywed to attend a relative’s wedding – ideally, for small-scale functions.
Also spotted these two – my favourites I’d shared with you on Instagram during the Vogue Wedding Show! Once I’d seen how they had been styled for the runway, I loved the peach ombre suit a lot more than the purple one.
Where to wear? Both can be worn as a guest to a small wedding function – especially suited for a Mehendi or puja.
Worth A Mention
The lovely, lovely polki jewellery worn by the models!
This maang tikka –
These beautiful big earrings –
And these chunky, massive earrings –
The Remaining Collection
Note: I realise that you can’t Pin images from Galleries easily, so I’m putting up these pieces on my Pinterest board for Fashion Week Outfits – you can access them there!

The designer clothing from Meera and Muzaffar Ali is quite good and everyone can have them in their wardrobe. They are quite women friendly and can be worn at any function which is the best part.
